Linköping is a small city in southern Sweden with a population of around 130,000. It is the county seat of Östergötland County and home to Linköping University, the fifth largest university in Sweden.
The city is located on the banks of the river Stångån and is famous for its beautiful medieval cathedral, the Church of St. Clemens. Other notable landmarks include the ruins of the old castle, the city hall, and the Göta Canal.
