Claremont is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States, located 34 miles (55 km) east of downtown Los Angeles. It is in the Pomona Valley, at the eastern end of the San Gabriel Valley. Claremont is known as the home of the Claremont Colleges and The Claremont Graduate University. The population was 36,924 at the 2010 census.
