Trains on the Ausserfernbahn railway line connect Lermoos to Kempten, Reutte, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen several times daily. In winter, buses run regularly between ski areas. You can reach Lermoos from Innsbruck Airport (100 kilometers away) via direct transfers. Munich and Allgäu airports also connect to Lermoos through the regional road network.

Children can learn about local wildlife and geology at 12 stations along the 2-kilometer Explorer Trail. The Magic Forest path includes wooden climbing structures where kids learn about forest ecosystems.
