Füssen is a small Bavarian town located at the foot of the Alps, close to the Austrian border. It is best known as the home of the Neuschwanstein Castle, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Germany. The old town is charming, with a mix of traditional Bavarian and baroque architecture, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops. The area around Füssen is also very scenic, with mountains, forests, and lakes. It's a great place to go hiking, cycling, or skiing in the winter.
