Bukavu
Bukavu is a small city in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is located on the shore of Lake Kivu, one of the Great Lakes of Africa. The city is the capital of the Sud-Kivu province. Bukavu is a commercial center and the most important city in the region. It is also a center of education, with several universities and colleges. The city has a population of about 400,000.
