Nový Jičín is a small city in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It is located on the eastern edge of the historical region of Silesia. The city has a population of about 33,000 people. It is a regional center and an important railway junction. The city is known for its many beautiful churches, including the Church of the Holy Cross, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, and the Church of St. Wenceslas.
