Breisach am Rhein
The old town of Breisach am Rhein is a pedestrian-only zone that is a joy to explore. The narrow streets are lined with brightly colored houses, many of which have half-timbered facades.
The town is also home to the Rheinau Abbey, a beautiful monastery that was founded in the 8th century. The abbey is surrounded by a lovely park, and the buildings are well worth a visit.
