Crailsheim is a small town in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, located in the district of Schwäbisch Hall. The town is best known for its Crailsheim Merlot, a wine made from the black grape Merlot. The wine is fruity, with a soft finish, and is often served with food. Crailsheim is also home to a large automotive manufacturing plant, operated by the company Daimler AG. The plant employs around 10,000 people, making it one of the largest employers in the town. Crailsheim is also home to a large number of other industrial companies, making it a major centre of industry in southern Germany.
