Donauwörth

Donauwörth is a small town in the German state of Bavaria, situated on the banks of the Danube River.

It is best known as the birthplace of Albrecht Dürer, one of the most famous painters of the German Renaissance. The town is also home to a large Benedictine monastery, the Schlosskirche, which is one of the largest and most important churches in southern Germany. The monastery is open to the public, and visitors can explore the gardens and the beautiful Baroque interior of the church.
