Xanten

Xanten is a sleepy little town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, that's best known for its archeological sites. The remnants of the Roman city of Colonia Ulpia Traiana Xanten can be found throughout the town, including the remains of a Roman amphitheater, thermal baths, and a basilica. There are also a few museums in town, including the Archeological Museum and the Museum of Regional History. Xanten is a great place to relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
