L'Abergement-de-Varey is a small, picturesque village in the Ain department of eastern France. It is located in the foothills of the Jura mountains, in the Bugey wine-growing region. The village is built around a 12th-century Romanesque church and is surrounded by forests and vineyards. There are several small restaurants and wine bars in the village, as well as a bakery, a grocery store and a post office.
