Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire is a small town in the Loire-Atlantique department in western France. It is located on the Loire River, just downstream from Nantes. The town is best known as the birthplace of the French composer Olivier Messiaen. It is also the home of the Musée de la Musique, which houses a large collection of musical instruments and manuscripts from Messiaen's personal collection.
