Ramadi

Ramadi is a city in central Iraq, about 110 kilometers west of Baghdad. It is the capital of Anbar Province. The city has a population of about 850,000 people. Ramadi is a strategic city, located on the banks of the Euphrates River. It was an important center during the Ottoman Empire. Ramadi has been home to many civilizations, including the Sumerians, Babylonians, and the Abbasids. The city is also home to the tomb of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad's grandson, Hussein ibn Ali.
