Bucchianico is a small town in the province of Chieti, in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. It is located in the Valle Peligna, on the slopes of the Majella mountain, and is overlooked by the ruins of the Castello Caldoresco. The old town is a maze of narrow streets and alleyways, and is home to a number of churches and palaces. The main square, Piazza Garibaldi, is surrounded by a number of bars and restaurants, and is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine.
