Augustów is a small town in north-eastern Poland, situated on the Augustów Canal and the Biebrza River. It's a popular tourist destination, with beautiful scenery and plenty of outdoor activities on offer. The town is surrounded by forest and lakes, and is a great place for fishing, hiking, cycling and canoeing. There are also a few interesting museums and historical sites in the area, including the Palace of the Sapiehas, the Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration and the Augustów Canal Museum.
