It’s not really allowed to take a drone in public, therefore I had to wake up very early to shoot this aerial shot in Gardens by the Bay, an amazing nature park in Singapore.

The Cloud Forest in Singapore is incredible! You feel like you are in year 3018. As I entered the bio-dome, I was greeted with this waterfall that rained down mist on everyone. I spent the rest of the time zig-zagging up skywalks to the top of the mountain in the middle. | Singapore in Singapore

I was on a layover in Singapore and decided to visit the Super Tree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. I arrived in the late afternoon and the lighting was brilliant. This is taken from the walkway connecting the trees. Just an amazing site to visit, especially at sunset. | Singapore in Singapore

What people say about Singapore

Singapore is a wonderful city. Even though it's build like the top world's capitol, it's still full of plants, trees and public spaces with some nature. Not to mention fantastic Zoo garden. Public transportation makes it super easy to travel around.

Singapore is a pretty special place. There are the clear roots from the Southeast Asian region where it is located, there is a heavy Chinese influence, and then there is the Western influence. Mixed together in small city-state which is one of the wealthiest nations on earth. Nowadays it is a major business hub in Asia with both lots of startups and regional headquarters for international companies. I have traveled here several times for work, and as a tourist. I love the variety of food, and have had great meals in Chinatown, Little India and lots of other places in town. I also appreciate the interesting architecture in different styles. My favorite building is the art deco high-rise Parkview Square, which feels like something out of Gotham City in Tim Burton's Batman movies. I very much dislike the shopping mall culture here where you can probably spend days just walking between malls. But then again, I don't like shopping. Also be prepared, this place is shockingly expensive for Southeast Asia! Singapore is easily combined with other destinations in Southeast Asia, as it is a major travel hub. So take the chance to see Singapore if you are changing flights here.
