Andernach

Andernach is a small town on the banks of the Rhine River in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

It’s a popular spot for tourists thanks to its well-preserved medieval centre and the interesting ruins of the imperial castle that overlooks the town. Andernach is also a great place to experience some of Germany’s famous beer culture – the local brewery has been in operation since the 16th century. When you’re not sampling the local brews, take a walk along the Rhine and enjoy the beautiful views of the river valley.
