Jever is a small town in northwestern Germany, located in the Bundesland of Lower Saxony. The town is best known for its eponymous Jever Pilsener, a pale lager beer that is brewed in the town. Jever is also home to a castle, Schloss Jever, which is open to the public. The castle is located on a hill overlooking the town and the Jever Pilsener brewery.
