Reutlingen is a small city in southern Germany, located in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It is known for its medieval architecture, as well as for its association with the textile industry. The city centre is characterised by a large number of timber-framed buildings, many of which date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. There are also a number of churches and other historical monuments, including the Rathaus (town hall), the St. Martin's Church, and the Spitalkirche. In addition, Reutlingen is home to a number of breweries and microbreweries, and is the birthplace of the Swabian dish Maultaschen.
