Lohja is a small town in Southern Finland, located some 60 kilometers north of Helsinki. The town is best known for its annual medieval market, which takes place every summer in the picturesque old town center. The market is a great opportunity to experience a bit of Finnish history and culture, as well as to buy some traditional handicrafts. Lohja is also a great place to go hiking in the nearby forests, or to take a swim in one of the area's many lakes.
