Portescusi is a small, sleepy fishing village on the southeast coast of Sardinia, in the province of Carbonia-Iglesias. It's one of the most unspoiled and beautiful areas of the island, with crystal-clear water, white-sand beaches, and dramatic cliffs. The village is a great base for exploring the surrounding area, including the Costa Verde, with its dramatic cliffs and coves, and the Nuraghe Losa, a prehistoric archaeological site. There are also some excellent restaurants in the village, serving fresh seafood and local specialties.
