Serbia
Serbia is a country located in the Balkans in southeastern Europe. It is bordered by Montenegro to the northwest, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, Bulgaria to the east, North Macedonia to the south, Croatia and Hungary to the southwest, and Albania to the south. The capital and largest city is Belgrade.
Serbia has a rich and varied history, dating back to the early Middle Ages. The country was once part of the Ottoman Empire, and later became a part of Yugoslavia. In recent years, Serbia has been an independent country.
The country is known for its beautiful scenery, including mountains, rivers, and forests. Serbia also has many beautiful Orthodox churches and monasteries, as well as Roman ruins. Many of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Some of the best-known Serbian dishes include ćevapčići (a grilled dish of minced meat), pljeskavica (a grilled meat patty), and sarma (a dish made with stuffed cabbage leaves).
