Prievidza is a small city located in the Trenčín Region of Slovakia. It is situated on the Nitra River and is home to around 38,000 people. The city is best known for its annual jazz festival, which takes place each July. Other attractions in Prievidza include the Church of St. Nicholas, the Regional Museum, and the Botanical Gardens.
