Bruchsal

Bruchsal is a small city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, about 25 km (16 mi) north of Karlsruhe. It is the largest city in the district of Karlsruhe.

Bruchsal is known for its large number of churches, of which the St. Stephan Basilica is the most famous. Bruchsal is also home to the Bruchsal Prison, a former state prison which is now a museum.
