Neckarsulm

Neckarsulm is a small town in the Baden-Württemberg region of southern Germany. It's best known as the birthplace of the automobile, as Karl Benz, the inventor of the modern car, was born here in 1844.

The town is also home to the Neckarsulm Motor Works, the original manufacturer of the Benz car.

Despite its small size, Neckarsulm is a lively and vibrant town, with a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. The old town is particularly picturesque, and is well worth a wander. There are also some lovely parks and gardens, and the Neckar river runs through the town, making for a pleasant stroll.

If you're interested in cars, or just want to see where one of the most important inventions in history was born, then Neckarsulm is definitely worth a visit.
