Biddacidru, more commonly known as Villacidro, is a small town located in the province of Medio Campidano, in the south-west of Sardinia. The town is surrounded by the Monte Linas massif, the Gennargentu mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is a place of considerable natural beauty, with forests, mountains and Mediterranean scrubland. The town is also home to the Museo della Tonnara, which tells the story of the tuna fishing industry in the area. There are several beaches in the vicinity, as well as a number of restaurants and bars.
