Białowieża National Park

a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Białowieża National Park is an oasis of untouched nature in eastern Poland. The primeval forest, one of the last and largest of its kind in Europe, is home to a vast array of flora and fauna, including rare species such as the European bison and the Eurasian lynx. The park’s trails and wooden observation towers are a great way to explore the forest and keep an eye out for its inhabitants. For a unique experience, take a ride on the Bison Express, an old-fashioned train that runs through the park. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of one of the majestic bison that roam the park.
