Chełm

Chełm is a small city in southeastern Poland, located in the Lublin Voivodeship. It is known for its many old churches and buildings, which have been preserved since the city's foundation in the 12th century. Many of these structures, including the defensive wall and the castle, are now open to the public as museums. The city is also home to a large Jewish community, which played an important role in its history. Today, Chełm is a popular tourist destination, thanks to its well-preserved architecture and its proximity to other popular Polish destinations, such as Lublin and Kazimierz Dolny.
