Kętrzyn

Kętrzyn is a small town in northeastern Poland, situated on the banks of the river Rynia, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It is the administrative seat of the Gmina Kętrzyn, and home to the Kętrzyn Fortress, a well-preserved medieval stronghold. The town is also known for its annual International Music Festival, held each summer in the fortress. Kętrzyn is a convenient base for exploring the Masurian Lake District, one of Poland's most popular tourist destinations.
