Nowy Sącz

Nowy Sącz is a small town in southern Poland, located in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is situated on the banks of the Dunajec River, at the foot of the Pieniny Mountains. The town has a population of approximately 50,000 and is a popular tourist destination, thanks to its many historic attractions and picturesque setting. The main square is a beautiful, medieval-style cobblestone plaza, surrounded by ornate buildings, including the Gothic town hall. There are also several churches and monasteries in the town, including the Baroque Church of St. Anne and the Franciscan monastery. The area around Nowy Sącz is also popular for hiking and skiing.
