Siedlce

Siedlce is a small town in eastern Poland, about two hours’ drive from Warsaw. It’s a great place to stop off if you’re travelling between the capital and Lublin, as it has a good range of accommodation, restaurants and bars. The town is dominated by a large Gothic church, and there are several interesting museums, including one dedicated to the history of the Jewish community that was once a large and important part of Siedlce. The town is also home to a large open-air market, where you can buy all sorts of local produce, as well as traditional crafts and souvenirs.
