Ruda Śląska is an old coal mining town in the south-west of Poland, located in the Silesian Voivodeship. Once a thriving community, the town is now in decline, with many of its inhabitants moving to the larger cities in search of work. However, Ruda Śląska is still a fascinating place to visit, with its narrow streets, old churches and coal mining heritage. The town is also home to a number of interesting museums, including the Museum of Coal Mining and the Ruda Śląska Museum of Industry and Technology. There are also a number of interesting places to eat and drink in Ruda Śląska, including the Śląskie Centrum Rozrywki, a large entertainment complex with a cinema, nightclubs and restaurants.
