Wadowice

Wadowice is a small town in southern Poland, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II. It’s a pretty place, with a central square lined with cafes and a Baroque church, and it’s easy to see why the pope loved it so much. There’s not much to do in Wadowice, but that’s part of its charm. Wandering the narrow streets, popping into the occasional church and stopping for coffee in the square is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. If you’re interested in the pope, there’s a small museum in the town, and there’s also a beautiful park on the edge of town with a statue of John Paul II.

Average temperatures during the day in Wadowice.
