Arbus is a small town in the province of Medio Campidano, in the south-west of Sardinia. It is a picturesque town, built on a hill, and is surrounded by the magnificent Gennargentu mountains. The town is famous for its handicrafts, in particular its gold and filigree jewellery, and for its traditional costumes. There are several interesting churches in the town, and a few small museums, including the Regional Archaeological Museum, which is housed in the castle. Arbus is also a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside, with its beautiful forests and mountains.
